Senior Product Controller Treasury - Asia100% (f/m/d)

Job description

Tasks

• Product Control tasks across various asset classes (e.g. fixed income, FX, interest rates), including daily trade reporting, P&L declarations, FOBO reconciliations between front office systems and core banking systems, independent price verification (IPV), bid-offer valuation adjustments, monthly reconciliations against financial reports
• Establishment of a comprehensive treasury product control function in Asia, integration of all product control tasks into the IT landscape
• Preparation of management information through regular reports, ad hoc analyses and presentations for the Group Asset and Liability Management Committee and other internal stakeholders
• Communication with external auditors and local regulatory authorities
• Assessment of new products as part of the approval process for new products
• Increasing the efficiency of current processes (review, suggestion of improvements, implementation) and increasing the degree of automation

Requirements

• University degree in finance or a similar field
• Strong industry experience in risk or finance, with 10+ years of relevant domain knowledge
• Ideal: 5+ years direct experience in product control
• In-depth knowledge of fixed-income securities, foreign exchange products and related derivatives
• Experience with front office applications such as Front Arena, Murex etc.
• Excellent knowledge of process optimization and automation
• Programming skills (Python, SQL or similar) desired
• Team-oriented, able to work with highly qualified, technically oriented personnel
• Independent with an entrepreneurial self-starter mindset
• Excellent communication skills with senior internal and external stakeholders
