Senior Project Manager - COO

EFG International is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic and cross-functional projects with global impact and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead projects from conception to completion and ensure they are aligned with business objectives.

Tasks

  • Project Management: Lead strategic projects from conception to completion to ensure they align with the bank's strategic objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of project activities.
  • Global impact: Drive projects with global impact that contribute to the bank's international growth and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic planning: Independently develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation and risk management strategies.
  • Performance monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential issues and take corrective action to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate with stakeholders: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project status, milestones and deliverables.
  • Innovation and improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within projects and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, project management or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
  • Experience: >5 years experience in project management within the financial services industry with experience in a cross-functional environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional problem solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with project management tools and software and a deep understanding of financial services operations and regulations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
