Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Global COO staff function. The successful candidate will lead strategic and cross-functional projects with a global impact, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and driving operational excellence. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to enhance efficiency, innovation, and growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with the bank's strategic goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of project activities.
  • Global Impact: Drive projects that have a significant global impact, contributing to the bank's international growth and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Independently develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders including senior management, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
  • Experience: >5 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry with experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Leadership: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as a strong understanding of financial services operations and regulations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
