Senior Project Manager - Fund Managers

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Fund Managers team, working closely with stakeholders across LGT Capital Partners. In this role, you will play a critical role in implementing strategic initiatives that enhance our fund management capabilities and deliver exceptional value to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple highly critical projects simultaneously.

Tasks

  • Lead and manage the delivery of complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget and within the agreed scope.
  • Identification and prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements from business and technical stakeholders;
  • Management of external technology providers and control of the system selection process in close cooperation with IMT.

Requirements

  • University degree in information technology, business administration or equivalent qualification;
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a project manager with a financial services provider or with a leading consulting firm in a delivery role in the financial sector;
  • Experience in the asset management industry, particularly in fund administration and related systems, is an advantage;
  • Deep and proven project management, delivery and leadership expertise (both technical and people and change management); Agile certification (Scrum, IPMA etc.) and hands-on experience a plus;
  • Excellent language skills in English (oral/written) are required, German is an advantage;
  • Ability to act as a mediator on complex issues between business and technology teams;
  • Passion for project management with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to getting things done;
  • Self-motivated team player with strong analytical and organizational skills.
