Senior Python Engineer - Real-Time Data

Tasks

• Development and deployment of features on the high-throughput streaming platform, which processes billions of assets and market data points daily.
• Tracking and monitoring external sources (e.g., when a “trusted” system has failed and can no longer be relied upon).
• Develop robust unit and integration test suites for the product areas under one's responsibility.
• Improving the data flow architecture in accordance with best practices, with the goal of building a modern data science stack.
• Designing and implementing stability through incident response, root-cause analysis, and effective planning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development using Java and Python as the primary languages.
• A proven track record in delivering modern software applications for large-scale distributed systems.
• A deep understanding of and strong interest in data quality and code quality.
• Effectively collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to understand, define, and communicate data-driven standards.
• Strong interest in data and computer science—data science.
