Senior Quant Developer

Tasks

The role involves developing and maintaining Python data pipelines and analytics platforms for the Discretionary and Solutions teams. The responsibilities are divided into:

• Development & Delivery (70%): Build, extend, and maintain Python data pipelines using Pandas, NumPy, and internal libraries
• Stakeholder Engagement (20%): Serve as the primary technical contact for NY-based Discretionary and Solutions stakeholders
• Production Operations (10%): Ensure the stability of systems in your portfolio—investigate data quality issues, triage support requests, and manage incident response

Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong track record of delivering results
• Strong Python skills; test-driven development; continuous integration; technical debt; ODP; design patterns
• Experience with Python—particularly in the areas of portfolio management, risk, or investment operations
• Knowledge of Pandas and NumPy; building efficient data pipelines and transformations at scale
• Algos/LJM experience – Experience in developing or integrating LJM-based tools
