The role

As a client representative, you will oversee the development of complex and challenging conversion and maintenance projects in existing buildings and ensure that a feasibility concept is transformed into a user-friendly and sustainable solution. You will actively consult with future internal tenants, identify their diverse requirements, and develop specifications and solutions.

Tasks

You are responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensure the professional execution and timely completion of commissioned construction projects in accordance with the scope of work (delivery on time and within the specified budget, quality standards, and appropriate risk management)
• Perform the duties of the UBS Client Representative (BHV) on behalf of Switzerland Real Estate & Services (SRES) during the various phases of construction
• Leads, coordinates, and manages all project phases, from planning and implementation to completion and handover
• Ensures the planning, implementation, execution, and timely handover of operations

What we wish for

Ideally, you have extensive experience in client-side construction project management within a large corporation. You enjoy team-oriented, interdisciplinary work, are skilled at negotiating, and navigate the diverse interests of our internal and external stakeholders with confidence and poise. To meet this demanding challenge, you possess:

• A degree in architecture or civil/HVAC engineering from an ETH or FH institution, along with extensive expertise in architecture, urban planning, and real estate development
• Well-established network in Switzerland with authorities and suppliers
• Ideally, certification in project management, e.g., PMI or comparable
• Experience with current trends such as sustainability, smart buildings, IoT, BIM, and related facility management is a plus
• Several years of experience managing large-scale projects with a budget of CHF 10 million or more
• In-depth expertise in business administration
• In-depth knowledge of the SIA standard
• A leader with a strong customer focus
• A solution-oriented team player with
• Fluency in spoken and written German would be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge of Office 365
