Senior Real Estate
UBS is looking for a Senior Real Estate Manager who, as the client's representative, will manage complex construction projects in Switzerland and ensure that they are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of construction project management, architecture, and real estate development, as well as experience in managing complex projects.
The role
As the client's representative, you will manage the development of complex and challenging conversion and renovation projects in existing buildings and ensure that a feasible idea is turned into a user-friendly and sustainable solution.Tasks
You are responsible for the following tasks:- Ensure the professional execution and goal-oriented implementation of mandated construction projects (delivery within the specified deadlines, costs, quality, and appropriate risk management).
- Perform the role of UBS client representative (BHV) on behalf of Schweiz Real Estate & Services (SRE) during construction phases.
- Leads, coordinates, and manages all construction and planning processes, implementations, approvals, and operational handover.
- Ensures planning, implementation, acceptance, and timely handover of operations.
Requirements
Ideally, you will have:- Training as an architect or civil/HVAC engineer (ETH/FH) and comprehensive expertise in the fields of architecture, spatial planning, and real estate development.
- Well-established network in Switzerland with authorities and suppliers.
- Ideally, certification in project management, e.g., PMI or comparable.
- Experience in current trends such as sustainability, smart buildings, IoT, BIM, and accompanying FM is an advantage.
- Several years of experience in managing complex projects with large.
- In-depth expertise in business management.
- In-depth knowledge of the SIA standard and norms.
- Leader with a strong customer focus.
- Solution-oriented team player with.
- Business fluent German, both spoken and written, would be an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Office 365.
