The role

As the client representative, you will manage the development of complex and challenging conversion and renovation projects in existing buildings and ensure that a feasible idea is turned into a user-friendly and sustainable solution. You will actively advise future internal tenants, identify their diverse needs, and develop procedures and solutions. With your performance-oriented and team-oriented approach, you will develop optimal solutions for our company. You will evaluate and manage external architects and planners, accompany the various planning versions for tenants and commissioned consultants, and commission contractors. You will be supported in this by in-house specialists.

Tasks

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensure the professional execution and timely implementation of mandated construction projects (delivery of internal and external construction tasks within the specified deadlines, costs, quality, and corresponding project risk).
• Perform the role of UBS client representatives (BHV) on behalf of Switzerland Real Estate & Services (SRE) during construction phases.
• Leads, coordinates, and manages all tasks
• Provides planning, implementation, execution, and timely handover of operations

What we wish for

Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of construction project management on the client side within a large corporation. You enjoy team-oriented, interdisciplinary work, are happy to conduct negotiations, and navigate confidently and competently between the diverse interests of our internal and external stakeholders. To meet this demanding challenge, you have:

• Training as an architect or civil/HVAC engineer (ETH/FH) and comprehensive expertise in the fields of architecture, spatial planning, and real estate development
• Well-established network in Switzerland with authorities and suppliers
• Ideally, certification in project management, e.g., PMI or comparable
• Experience in current trends such as sustainability, smart buildings, IoT, BIM, and construction-related FM is an advantage
• Several years of experience in managing large-scale projects
• In-depth expertise in business management contexts
• In-depth knowledge of the SIA standard
• Leader with strong customer focus
• Solution-oriented team player with excellent written and spoken German negotiation skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Office 365
