Job description: Senior Relationship Manager, Asia Intermediaries

Tasks

• Execution of regional business development and relationship management strategy for global and regional private banks in Hong Kong
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of key business and strategic issues affecting financial institutions in Hong Kong and Asia
• Build strong relationships within and beyond the client organization to achieve commercial results
• Acquisition and ongoing support of new and existing customers
• Marketing of Vontobel's full product range to the assigned client base with the support of investment platform professionals as required
• Develop and implement a business plan to identify prospects and increase assets via VAM's product capabilities
• Ensuring that all compliance and legal requirements are met and business is conducted in line with best practice, taking appropriate action where necessary

Requirements

• Confident, robust, decisive, trustworthy and with excellent judgment in client matters
• Entrepreneurial and independent, but able to work in a team environment
• Proven ability to achieve commercial success
• Innovative thinker who is able to drive and promote new ideas and initiatives
• Strong and self-confident presenter, even in front of large audiences
• Good understanding of investment products across all asset classes
• Service mentality: client-centered, diligent and adhering to fast processing times
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral) and Cantonese (oral)
• At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales or customer service within the financial industry
