(Senior) Relationship Manager, EAM & MFO, French-speaking Switzerland

Sygnum is seeking a (Senior) Relationship Manager for French-speaking Switzerland to establish new EAM and MFO relationships and oversee the client onboarding process. The position requires at least five years of experience in the financial sector, fluency in French and English, and a deep understanding of Swiss banking regulations.

Tasks

  • Take responsibility for acquiring and maintaining new EAM and MFO relationships, as well as end-customer relationships, based on an existing active tracker in the industry in French-speaking Switzerland.
  • Manage the onboarding process and prioritize efforts to anticipate customer needs and ensure appropriate responses. Provide solution-oriented support to EAMs and MFOs, as well as their end customers, via phone, email, and in-person meetings regarding onboarding, product-related questions, transactions, technical support, contract changes, complaints, etc.
  • Processing of fiat and digital asset transactions, as well as post-transaction AML monitoring and processing.
  • Manage the customer onboarding process in accordance with internal standards (Legal & Compliance, Operations) and external service providers.
  • Maintaining and updating the CRM system to ensure accurate documentation of all stakeholders.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the crypto market landscape by monitoring Sygnum’s offerings and strengths, attending conferences, understanding regulations, and building a strong network of institutional and professional prospects.
  • Further development of the customer support concept (user manuals, tutorials, FAQs, etc.).

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MSc/MBA/CFA is a plus.
  • More than 5 years of proven experience in customer service or relationship management at a (Swiss) financial institution, with a focus on the EAM and AIF segments.
  • A proven track record of driving business growth with a “hunter” mentality, combined with a strong sales mindset and a results-oriented approach to winning and expanding customer relationships.
  • Practical experience in client onboarding (both individuals and legal entities), including a thorough understanding of Swiss banking regulations and familiarity with KYC processes and AML/CTF requirements.
  • A combination of consulting and analytical skills, with great attention to detail and a proactive, practical approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
