Job description: Senior Relationship Manager - Intermediaries

Tasks

• Contribution to the sales strategy for the intermediary business in Germany (growth targets, customer coverage, product focus, etc.)
• Ensuring and implementing a structured sales process for lead generation, follow-up, conversion, and customer support
• Integration into a trusting work environment that supports the team in delivering exceptional performance
• Collaborate with the Country Head, colleagues in the Institutional Business segment, portfolio managers, product management, marketing, and other teams to further develop our global customer service standards.
• Planning and execution of customer events
• Feedback to keep Vontobel's marketing and content offerings (investment content, presentations, etc.) innovative and top-notch
• Contribution to core projects as needed

Requirements

• Ambitious and results-oriented personality with a strong desire to generate new business
• At least 5 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role in the asset management industry
• Excellent customer network and trusting relationships in the intermediary market in Germany (private banks, cooperative banks, savings banks, insurance companies, IFAs, and other market segments)
• Excellent technical knowledge of investment markets and products, especially investment funds
• Good understanding of market trends and regulatory framework
• Strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes in priorities
• Native German speaker with excellent English skills (written and spoken)
• Degree in finance (bachelor's or similar, CFA, AZEK)
• Knowledge of MS Outlook
