Senior Relationship Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to strengthen the Commodity Trade Finance (CTF) team in Zurich. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing an assigned portfolio of existing clients in the area of commodity trade finance.

Tasks

• Increase in the bank portfolio in the CTF sector
• Management and development of a portfolio of clients in the CTF sector
• Structuring and reviewing new and existing credit lines
• Preparation of loan applications and approvals
• Assessment and analysis of corporate and transaction risks
• Regular monitoring of clients' financial positions and risks
• Structuring and monitoring transactions with other departments
• Negotiation of loan agreements and other legal documents
• Maintaining customer relationships and promoting cross-selling opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with KYC and compliance requirements

Requirements

• University degree in economics or equivalent qualification
• At least 10-15 years of experience in commodity trade finance, including at least 5 years as a relationship manager
• Strong technical and market-specific knowledge in the area of commodity trade finance
• Good knowledge of banking products
• risk management approach
• Excellent communication, marketing, and sales skills
• Good analytical and social skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to adapt to different cultures and willingness to travel
• Dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in French and English, German would be a plus
• Computer skills with excellent command of MS Office applications
• Valid Swiss/EU passport or Swiss work permit (mandatory)
