(Senior) Relationship Manager, UAE (80-100%)
Sygnum is seeking a (Senior) Relationship Manager for its team in Abu Dhabi who has experience in private banking and digital assets and who builds and maintains client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a regulated financial institution and a deep understanding of the crypto market and regulatory developments.
Tasks
- Take responsibility for acquiring and maintaining new customer relationships with a focus on private and corporate customers.
- Support multiple prospects and prioritize efforts to anticipate their needs and ensure appropriate responses.
- Lead the customer onboarding process together with internal stakeholders (Legal & Compliance, Operations) and external service providers.
- Provide solution-oriented support for private and corporate customers in the areas of onboarding, product-related questions, transactions, technical support, contract changes, complaints, etc.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the crypto market landscape by understanding Sygnam's offering and strengths, attending conferences, understanding regulatory developments, and building a strong institutional and professional network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a relevant field; master's degree, MBA, or CFA is a plus.
- Previous relevant work experience (minimum 5 years) in customer-focused roles within a regulated (Swiss) financial institution.
- Experience in onboarding clients (e.g., private clients and legal entities) and familiarity with Swiss banking and AGDM regulations.
- Demonstrable consultative mindset and analytical skills, combined with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and a hands-on mentality.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- An understanding of the crypto market and an existing network within the local blockchain ecosystem are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Arabic is a plus.
