As Senior Reputation Risk Officer within the Global Private Bank, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the front office and senior stakeholders. You will provide expert judgment and key guidance on reputation risks for new client onboarding, transactions, and periodic reviews. You will conduct rigorous assessments using multiple internal and external information sources, provide clear recommendations, and implement straightforward changes where necessary.Tasks
- Conduct in-depth analyses and risk assessments to recommend strategies for mitigating reputational risks.
- Implementation of the firm-wide reputation risk policy and standards within the legal entity; support for the Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management.
- Communicate with Global Financial Crimes Compliance and the Front Office to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
- Preparation and presentation of concise, action-ready reports and recommendations for senior management on key reputational risks.
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, proactively identifying emerging issues, and coordinating risk management.
- Provision of training and consulting support on reputation risk standards, escalation requirements, and committee governance.
- Ensuring strong oversight and discipline in record-keeping, policy updates, and broader risk team deliverables, while promoting consistency, accountability, and risk awareness.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information and extract critical risk elements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to influence and advise senior business stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of reputational risks, regulatory requirements, and J.P. Morgan best practices.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- A team player with experience in cross-functional collaboration within a financial institution.
- Proficiency in research, due diligence, and risk assessment tools.
Preferential qualifications
- A degree in law or a related field is preferred.
