Job description

As Senior Reputation Risk Officer within the Global Private Bank, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the front office and senior stakeholders. You will provide expert judgment and guidance on reputation risks related to new client onboarding, transactions, and periodic reviews. You will conduct rigorous assessments using multiple internal and external sources of information, provide clear recommendations, and implement streamlined changes where necessary.

Tasks

  • Conduct in-depth analyses and risk assessments to recommend strategies for mitigating reputational risks.
  • Implement the firm-wide reputation risk policy and standards within the legal entity to support the Global Head of Asset and Wealth Management.
  • Communicate with Global Financial Crimes Compliance and the Front Office to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
  • Preparation and presentation of concise, action-ready reports and recommendations for senior management on key reputational risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders to proactively identify emerging issues and promote coordinated risk management.
  • Providing training and guidance on reputation risk standards, escalation requirements, and committee governance.
  • Ensure strong oversight and discipline in record-keeping, policy updates, and broader risk team deliverables to promote consistency, control, and risk awareness.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information and extract critical risk elements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to influence and advise senior business stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of reputational risks, regulatory requirements, and JPMorgan best practices.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • A team player with experience working in a financial institution.
  • Proficiency in research, due diligence, and risk assessment tools.

Preferred qualifications

  • Degree in law or a related field.
