Senior SAP Project Manager – Finance Transformation (80–100%) (f/m/d)

Tasks

- Leading and implementing complex SAP financial projects and programs, with a focus on:

• SAP Group Reporting
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (Financial Accounting and Management Accounting)
• Further development and continuous evolution of the existing SAP ERP landscape

- Ensuring successful project execution in line with agreed-upon objectives, deadlines, budgets, and quality goals - Responsible for business analysis and project management, as well as providing relevant information, including data flows, business requirements, and test cases - Establishing and managing strong project governance, including:

• Detailed planning and milestone tracking
• Dependency and Integration Management
• Risk and Issue Management
• Preparation of decision-making documents, including impact analyses and proposed solutions

- Serve as the primary point of contact between Finance and IT to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions - Translate business requirements into SAP solutions in close collaboration with functional and technical teams - Foster collaboration with IT and Architecture to ensure that solutions align with corporate standards and the CFO’s long-term strategy - Responsible for high-quality and timely technical implementation, testing, and acceptance - Supporting business partners throughout the transformation journey to drive adoption and realize value - Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the continuous evolution of finance SAP systems and processes

Requirements

- Experienced SAP project manager with a strong track record of successfully implementing complex SAP financial projects in the financial services industry - Professional experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP project manager in executing large-scale implementations, ideally including:
• Financial Accounting
• External Reporting
• Data and Reporting Architecture
• Experience in implementing projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
• Experience as a business analyst in SAP transformation projects
• Experience in a finance department (financial accounting, management accounting, consolidation) or at a bank in an international setting is a plus
• Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in private banking

Education and Languages

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field - Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
