Senior SAP Project Manager – Finance Transformation (80–100%) (f/m/d)

Tasks

The responsibilities of the Senior SAP Project Manager include:

• Lead and execute complex SAP finance projects and programs, with a focus on SAP group reporting, SAP S/4HANA Finance (financial accounting and management accounting), and the ongoing development of the existing SAP ERP landscape
• Ensuring the successful implementation of the project within the agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives
• Responsibility for business analysis and project management, as well as for providing relevant information, including data flows, business requirements, and test cases
• Establishment and management of a strong project leadership team, including detailed planning and milestone tracking, dependency and integration management, risk and issue management, and preparation of decision-making documents that include impact analyses and solution options
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the finance and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions
• Translating business requirements into SAP solutions in close collaboration with functional and technical teams
• Promote collaboration with IT and Architecture to ensure that solutions align with the company's standards and the CFO's long-term strategy
• Responsibility for high-quality and timely technical implementation, testing, and acceptance
• Supporting business partners throughout the transformation journey to ensure acceptance and added value
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the continuous development of SAP financial systems and processes

Requirements

The successful candidate is an experienced SAP project manager with a strong track record of delivering complex SAP financial projects in the financial services industry.

• Proven experience as an SAP project manager in leading large-scale implementations, ideally including financial accounting, external reporting, and data and reporting architecture
• Experience in carrying out projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
• Experience as a business analyst in SAP transformation projects
• Experience in finance (financial accounting, management accounting, consolidation) or at a bank in an international setting (secondment) is a plus
• Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in private banking
