Senior SAP Project Manager – Finance Transformation 80–100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

Lead and deliver complex SAP Finance projects and programs, with a focus on:

• SAP Group Reporting
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (Financial Accounting and Management Accounting)
• Further development and continuous evolution of the existing SAP ERP landscape

Ensure the successful execution of the project in accordance with the agreed-upon objectives, deadlines, budgets, and quality goals. Be responsible for business analysis and project management, as well as for providing relevant information, including data flows, business requirements, and test cases. Establish and manage a strong project leadership team, including:

• Detailed Planning and Milestone Tracking
• Dependency and Integration Management
• Risk and Issue Management
• Preparation of decision-making documents, including impact analyses and proposed solutions

Primary point of contact between the Finance and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions. Translating business requirements into SAP solutions in close collaboration with functional and technical teams. Fostering collaboration with IT and Architecture to ensure that solutions align with corporate standards and the CFO’s long-term strategy. Responsible for high-quality and timely technical implementation, testing, and release. Support business partners throughout the transformation journey to ensure acceptance and added value. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the continuous evolution of Finance SAP systems and processes.

Requirements

The successful candidate is an experienced SAP project manager with a strong track record of delivering complex SAP Finance projects in the financial services industry. Professional experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP project manager in leading large-scale implementations, ideally including:
• Financial Accounting
• External Reporting
• Data and Reporting Architecture
• Experience in carrying out projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
• Experience as a business analyst in SAP transformation projects
• Experience in the finance department (financial accounting, management accounting, consolidation) of a bank in an international environment (preferred)
• Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in private banking
