Senior Software Engineer (Full-Time)

Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integration Services team, which is part of the Software Delivery Accelerator domain, you will help design, develop, and deploy integration platforms used across the domain. You will drive project initiatives from conception through delivery to ensure on-time, high-quality results. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and promote best practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicating highly technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Influencing and improving the engineering practices of existing developers.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve goals. Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFE, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming.
• Experience with best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain a stable production environment, and remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
• Stakeholder Management - Close collaboration with finance, business change engineers, and project managers to design and manage software deliveries.
• Requirements analysis, effort estimation, schedule planning, and project progress management.
• Ensuring that key stakeholders and participants are informed, engaged, and supported by establishing strong project teams and providing solutions to complex challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical and architectural design, enforcement of architectural guidelines, and challenging the status quo.
