Senior Software Engineer (Full-Time)

Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integration Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration platforms used across the organization. You will drive projects from conception through delivery, ensuring that the results are delivered on time and are of high quality. You will also provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and promote best practices such as SAFE, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming.

Responsibilities

• Communicating technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• They should influence and improve the engineering practices of existing developers.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to achieve goals; experience with agile methods such as Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Identify and resolve production issues to ensure a stable production environment; remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
• Stakeholder management – close collaboration with finance professionals, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage software delivery.
• Analyze requirements, estimate costs, plan schedules, and track progress.
• Foster awareness, engagement, and support among Life and P&C stakeholders and participants through strong project teams and robust solutions to complex challenges throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Advance and/or review technical and architectural concepts, enforce architectural guidelines, and challenge the status quo.
