Senior Software Engineer (Full-Time)

Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integration Services team, which is part of the Software Delivery Accelerator Domain, you will help design, develop, and deploy integration platforms used across the domain. You will drive project initiatives from conception through delivery to ensure on-time, high-quality results. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and promote best practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicating complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• You are an influencer who elevates the engineering practices of existing developers.
• Work closely with the delivery teams to achieve goals. Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFE, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming.
• Experience with best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain a stable production environment; remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
• Stakeholder management – close collaboration with finance professionals, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage software delivery.
• Requirements analysis, effort estimation, schedule planning, progress tracking.
• Foster awareness, engagement, and support among life and pension stakeholders and participants to build strong project teams and deliver robust solutions to complex challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive technical and architectural design forward, enforce architectural guidelines, and challenge the status quo.

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management
