Senior Software Engineer - C++/Python

Tasks

• Design, development, and maintenance of C++ applications using modern methods and practices.
• Design and development of reusable components to support cross-platform financial applications.
• Provisioning and configuration of tools, scripts, deployment parameters, and operational requirements.
• Proactive identification of opportunities for efficiency gains, including the automation of routine processes, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Continuously expanding product domain knowledge and expertise, as well as participating in cross-team planning and projects.
• Participation in architectural discussions, code reviews, and the elicitation of customer requirements.
• Use of AI-powered development tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to increase development speed and ensure quality.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

• 75 hours of software engineering experience building scalable applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (14/17/20/23) toolchains.
• Solid experience with Spring 5.6 frameworks, testing, and deployment development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and data engineering in day-to-day work.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, communication, and application frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems and other software development patterns.
• Experience with C/C++ toolchains and modern software development practices.
• Excellent debugging, system, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeWh, or similar technologies.

Salary

• Salary range: $164,000–$263,000.
• The salary range is a good estimate of the base salary. Other factors to consider may include relocation benefits, long-term care insurance, and pensions.
