Senior Software Engineer, Custody Value Stream (80-100%)

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Active participation in the development of new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Continuous improvement of application quality and security, identification of existing technical debt, and creation of plans for remediation
• Respond promptly and efficiently to production incidents, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaborate with platform engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and optimize release processes
• Collaborate with SRE engineers and solution architects to optimize application readiness, resilience, and observability.
• Supporting and guiding less experienced software engineers through coaching and mentoring

Expertise in:

• Java and/or TypeScript
• Security and applied cryptography
• Industry frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus
• Working with NATS/Kafka/RabbitMQ/Delay Properties
• Working with distributed systems and infrastructure
• Designing flexible and robust REST APIs with an API-first approach
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and ability to implement complex functionalities with high quality and security
• Work experience with Docker and containerization
• Work experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Work experience with AWS is an advantage
