Senior Software Engineer, Custody Value Stream (80-100%)

Tasks

The Custody Value Stream is a cross-functional team dedicated to the secure custody of digital assets, our front office, and our regulated digital asset bank. As part of a regulated digital asset bank, we are entrusted with the secure custody of client assets and place security, compliance, and operational integrity at the center of all our activities. We operate in an agile, product-led environment, bringing together specialists from product management, engineering, and architecture to deliver secure, scalable, end-to-end solutions for the custody of digital assets.

Your main tasks

• Be the owner of the delivery of features from start to finish—from creating and reviewing secure, well-tested code to confidently operating in production.
• Drive continuous improvement in application quality and security, and treat technical debt as a risk that must be actively managed.
• Ensure the platform is reliable by working across engineering disciplines—CI/CD, SRE, and architecture—to increase availability, resilience, and observability.
• Promote the team's capabilities by mentoring junior engineers and raising engineering standards by example.

What makes you stand out

• Expert knowledge in TypeScript and/or Java
• Expertise in security and applied cryptography
• Expert knowledge in an industry framework such as NestJS, Spring, or Quarkus
• Expertise in working with RDBMS (ideally Postgres)
• Work experience with Kafka
• Experience with distributed systems and infrastructure
• Designing flexible and robust REST APIs with an API-first approach
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and the ability to implement complex functionalities with high quality and security
• Work experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with AWS is an advantage
