Senior Software Engineer, Custody Value Stream

Tasks

• Developing new features and improvements by writing and deploying high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Continuous improvement of application quality and security, identification of existing technical debt, and planning for its resolution
• Responsibility for production incidents, prompt and efficient resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaborate with platform engineers to ensure CI/CD pipelines and optimize our release processes
• Collaborate with SRE engineers and solution architects to optimize application performance, resilience, and observability
• Support and Mentoring for Junior Software Engineers
• Actively advising and supporting the team in the use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to deepen their integration throughout the entire delivery cycle while adhering to security and compliance standards, as well as supporting cultural change

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years building scalable and reliable platforms in regulated or highly secure environments
• Practical work experience with Java or TypeScript
• In-depth knowledge of computer security concepts, threats, and best practices, as well as experience with cryptographic systems and secure data processing
• Experience in designing and integrating high-availability, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities for distributed systems
• Expertise in setting up, configuring, and managing complex CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure, and compliant deployments
• Ability to organize and use modern cloud services; experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration is a plus
• Strategic thinking to diagnose root causes, prioritize fixes, and drive quality improvements across platforms
• 3+ years of experience in software development for large-scale systems
• Practical experience with backend services in Java or TypeScript, as well as relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, SQL), with an understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
• A passion for building scalable backend services using the latest industry standards
