Senior Front-End Software Engineer for Web Portals

Tasks

• Designing and developing new features, writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code.
• Collaborating with the backend team and our BFFs to define contracts and ensure alignment between the client and user experience.
• Understanding the technical debt in the codebase and moving forward with the plan to address it, rather than ignoring it.
• Respond quickly to production incidents and collaborate across teams to restore service and identify the root cause.
• Helping to write use drivers to keep the UI consistent and usable on a growing platform, as well as improving the CI/CD and release processes.

Requirements

• Understanding UI and UX to create the best user experience.
• Knowledge of data preparation, API-first approaches, and design.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and its methodologies (Git, CI/CD tools, unit testing, vulnerabilities).
• Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban...).
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with front-end and back-end teams.
• Enjoyment of technical and personal leadership.
