Senior Software Engineer

Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integration Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration platforms used across the entire organization. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and promote best practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicating highly technical issues to a non-technical audience
• Influencing the engineering practices of existing developers
• Working with others to achieve goals
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Kanban, SAFe, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming
• Experience with best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Identifying and resolving production issues to ensure a stable production environment
• Stakeholder Management - Close collaboration with finance, business change engineers, and project managers to design and manage software deliveries
• Requirements analysis, effort estimation, schedule planning, project progress management
• Ensuring awareness, engagement, and support from key stakeholders and participants by involving strong project teams and delivering robust solutions to complex challenges throughout the project lifecycle
• Overseeing the technical and architectural design, enforcing architectural guidelines, and challenging the status quo

Regulatory Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5–10 years of practical experience in software development, with a solid foundation in system design and scalable architecture
• At least 3 years of experience in cloud-based environments and delivering infrastructure solutions to project teams
• Highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex functional requirements into efficient, practical, and effective technical solutions
