Tasks

• Lead AMIC technical management
• Propose guidelines/paths for developers to ensure consistency, quality, performance and evolvability
• Communicating highly technical problems to non-technical target groups
• Be an influencer and role model in software development practices
• Collaboration with teams to achieve goals; experience with agile methods such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Experience with best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Investigating and solving production problems to maintain a stable production environment
• Stakeholder management - working closely with finance, business change engineers and project managers to drive and manage software delivery
• Analyze requirements, estimate effort, plan schedule, manage progress
• Ensuring awareness, involvement and support of key stakeholders and participants through engagement of project groups and teams
• Create and review technical and architectural designs; enforce architectural guidelines and challenge the status quo

Professional and technical requirements

• 8-15 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a solid foundation in system design and scalable architecture
• At least 3 years of experience in independently managing cloud environments and delivering infrastructure solutions to project teams
• Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Experience in influencing stakeholders, driving projects to completion and overcoming delivery challenges
• Strong analytical mind with the ability to translate complex functional requirements into efficient, practical and fit-for-purpose technical solutions

Technical requirements

• Deep knowledge of CI/CD best practices, including automation practices and release management
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
• Proficient in Linux and shell scripting for system tasks and automation
• Solid understanding of cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes (K8s) and Open Policy Agent (OPA)
• Working knowledge of Kafka and messaging systems
• Exposure to microservices architecture and decoupled processing
