Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

The role

• Development, integration, testing, and support in requirements gathering and documentation of solutions/components in the area of Java/API/backend connections in collaboration with all departments involved (business and IT)
• Application responsibility and lifecycle support (including third-level support) and further development with regard to performance and maintainability of existing Java API applications and advising the product owner in the agile pod
• Creation and evaluation of various solution sets, implementation of code peer reviews, and coordination of content for cross-pod projects
• Collaboration in the design and implementation of standards and innovations in API development

Requirements

• Successful university degree in (business) information technology or comparable higher education
• At least 5 years of experience in development
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot
• Practical experience with databases
• Solid understanding of secure code
• Strong sense of quality and responsibility
• Good language skills in German and English
• Willingness to be on call
