Senior Solution Architect – SAP Finance & Banking Solutions

Tasks

• Support for integrating financial applications that connect SAP and non-SAP systems
• Establishing seamless interoperability between core banking platforms, trading systems, risk engines, reporting tools, and the group-wide ERP landscape

Data Sourcing

• Definition of data sources, mapping rules, and harmonization approaches within financial applications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or BW) based on the received data
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data integrity, provenance, and compliance
• Support for the development of real-time and batch data replication mechanisms

Migration Support

• Support for the architecture related to data migrations from core banking and markets applications to SAP and other financial applications
• Oversight of data cleansing, validation, planning, and test support
• Collaboration with project managers, department heads, DBAs, and developers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle

Stakeholder Engagement

• Acting as a trusted advisor to business partners in the areas of finance, controlling, and treasury
• Translating business requirements into technical designs through collaborative requirements analysis

Requirements

• A solid understanding of banking-specific financial processes, such as general ledger management, chart of accounts (COA), reconciliations, net interest income calculation and management, as well as regulatory reporting
• Advanced expertise in SAP Finance and established system integration patterns
• Proven business management skills, particularly with regard to banking and financial control processes
• Solid skills in data source and migration activities
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• An effective communicator who can explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences in technical and business roles
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work successfully in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
