Senior Solutions Engineer

Tasks

• Providing professional and customized support for the platforms and applications used by our customers
• Understanding the needs of our current and potential customers, particularly in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria
• Design, setup, and configuration of the necessary and desired IT infrastructure
• Introduction to the Various Security and Access Management Products
• Configuring User Access, User Management, and Provisioning
• Resolving system issues, security issues, performance issues, or platform issues
• Supporting customers during their evaluation
• Support and Troubleshooting for the Products You Use
• Definition of Functional and Service Standards for All Taurus Devices
• Advice on how to make the best use of our products and on high-priority incidents, including the end-user experience on customer infrastructures, handling user inquiries, software upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Overseeing data planning, installation, and integration of Taurus solutions into virtual or on-premises IT infrastructures
• Conducting precise local scans, including IT/hardware scans, current status of systems/resources, IT integration activities, project details, and troubleshooting by two or more external teams
• Support for building customized networks, including security solutions, security policies, and deployment and operation
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with each customer as a strategic partner and advisor for the cloud and for our products and services
• Ongoing efforts to strengthen the Taurus portfolio of solution partnerships to meet needs and goals
• Communicating and coordinating information about various aspects of Taurus products with partners and customers
• Work more closely with members of other departments to meet requirements and business objectives and continuously improve the customer experience and satisfaction
• Organization and Documentation of Technical and User Documentation for Solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of technical experience in the design and implementation of complex, multi-tier data security environments, hardware (PCIe, DIMM, or comparable experience), or configuration
• Familiar with virtualized system environments, including Hyper-V and VMware (VMware Workstation, ESXi, and vSphere)
• Experience in access management or knowledge of security related to firewalls, data security, and data protection is a plus; data protection or technical security
• Strong partnerships with high-performance IT solutions, technologies, architectures, and products, as well as application management
• Extensive knowledge of various DeepTech tools and testing resources, particularly security testing, including Taurus's own testing and analysis solutions
• Strong proficiency in current deep tech tools, alternatives, processes, Conda, Terraform, Dockerfile, GitHub, and the command line
• Ability to conceive both simple and complex solutions and to integrate them into ever-expanding solution architectures
• Knowledge/understanding and discussion of management (OSI), DNS/DHCP deployment, and patching (EOL, Dev, QA, or Yolo)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A typical team player, flexible, focused, and able to think outside the box
• Willingness to regularly engage with end customers
