Senior Sourcing Lead Professional Marketing Services 80 - 100 % (m/f/d)

The Senior Sourcing Lead Professional Marketing Services is responsible for executing sourcing activities for marketing services to deliver cost effective solutions for the business. The job holder will independently lead and execute sourcing projects to achieve strategic objectives.

Job description

Tasks

  • Conduct sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for the Professional Services & Marketing Services category with the goal of adding value to the business while optimizing spend and reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), as well as developing supplier relationships
  • Collaboration with relevant business partners from IT, Operations, Finance, Corporate Services, Marketing, Sustainability, CEO Office, Risk Management, HR, the regions and other functional units and SMEs during sourcing events and projects
  • Management, utilization and review of the existing supplier network in close cooperation with the company and the Global Category Lead
  • Coordination with the Global Category Lead in the implementation of the category strategy and active participation in the regular updating of category strategies
  • Leading communication with suppliers and internal units with the aim of developing and improving performance and creating added value for all parties
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development of all types of documents in the responsible categories and sourcing activities
  • Drafting and negotiation of contracts, partly based on standard templates
  • Implementation of contracts in accordance with the bank's processes and regulations, conducting debriefs with unsuccessful suppliers
  • Creating transparency around the sourcing agenda and actively developing a pipeline for the relevant categories
  • Participation in the procurement contribution targets (cost savings/cost avoidance)
  • Active advice and support in category execution for the operational procurement activities of the Regional Value Delivery teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, engineering or a similar relevant field
  • Recognized industry-related specialist qualification (CIPS, CPA, CIMA, procure.ch or additional training/experience)
  • + 10 years of relevant (indirect) procurement experience
  • Very good command of English and German (written and spoken), other local language(s) an advantage
