(Senior) Specialist Paying Agent Services

Incore Bank AG is seeking a (Senior) Specialist in Paying Agent Services to support clients in the structured products sector and serve as a liaison between clients, compliance, and internal departments. The position requires a degree in banking and finance, compliance, or economics, as well as experience in a similar role within the financial industry.

Job description

We are seeking an honest, reliable, and self-motivated individual to join the Paying Agent Services team in Schlieren as a (Senior) Specialist Paying Agent Services (100%). In this high-responsibility role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients regarding the issuance of structured products and serve as the central point of contact between clients, Compliance, internal departments, and decision-making bodies.

Tasks

She:
  • are responsible for the first line of defense in customer onboarding for paying agent services.
  • verify the identity of the contracting parties (KYC, PEP/SAN, media screening) and facilitate the establishment of the business relationship and/or account updates.
  • We perform formal and substantive checks (VSB, FATCA/CRS, AML) as part of the initial account opening process, as well as in connection with periodic review requirements.
  • work closely with the specialist departments of the second line of defense.
  • interact with and support the Operations departments during upcoming lifecycle events.
  • contribute to the further development of existing and new processes as well as to projects.
  • prepare analyses and evaluate periodic data to support decision-makers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Completed basic education (banking apprenticeship or high school diploma) combined with advanced professional training (e.g., a bachelor’s or master’s degree in banking and finance, compliance, or economics).
  • several years of experience in a similar role in the financial sector.
  • Extensive experience in providing administrative support to legal entities, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory and corporate law requirements.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level).
