(Senior) Specialist Paying Agent Services

Tasks

In this key role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients regarding the issuance of structured products and serve as the central point of contact between clients, compliance, internal departments, and decision-making bodies. Your responsibilities include:

• are responsible for the first line of defense in customer onboarding for paying agent services.
• verify the identity of the contracting parties (KYC, PEP/SAN, media screening) and facilitate the establishment of the business relationship and/or account updates.
• We perform formal and substantive checks (VSB, FATCA/CRS, GJ) as part of the initial account opening process or in connection with periodic reporting requirements.
• work closely with the specialist departments of the second line of defense.
• interact with and support the Operations departments during upcoming lifecycle events.
• contribute to the further development of existing and new processes as well as to projects.
• prepare analyses and evaluate periodic data to support decision-makers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Completed basic education (banking apprenticeship or high school diploma) combined with advanced professional training (e.g., a bachelor’s or master’s degree in banking and finance, compliance, or economics).
• several years of experience in a similar role in the financial sector.
• Extensive experience in providing administrative support to legal entities, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory and corporate law requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level).
