Senior System Architect - Business Rule Management Platform

Tasks

• You design and are responsible for the solution architecture for applications in delivery.
• You ensure that your solution architectures comply with architectural standards in delivery and are consistent with the target architectures of the area.
• You identify and manage architectural liabilities when there is a mismatch between transition and target architectures.
• You initiate architectural decisions, document them as architectural decision records (ADR), and have them approved by the relevant architecture committees.
• You advise and coach software engineers on the implementation of solution architectures and ensure that these are technically feasible.
• In addition to architectural design, they also support later phases of the software life cycle, such as testing, release, and operation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in banking compliance or control environments, with 3+ years of experience as a senior architect and as a manager or senior software engineer
• Strong integration design skills (APIs and event-based integration, including Kafka)
• Proven experience in solution design and knowledge of current architectural styles, such as event-driven, microservices, and modular monoliths
• Ability to identify options for solution architectures and make architecture trade-off decisions
• Understanding and experience in software engineering, including DevOps
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience with rules/validation concepts (rule execution, decision results, traceability)
• Experience with suitability tests in trade/order flows
• Ability to develop and coordinate solutions together with business and technology
