The successful candidate will play a central role in the Global IT Architecture department and will need experience in software solution architecture and knowledge of modern architectural styles such as microservices and event-driven systems.

Tasks

As a System Architect within the Global IT Architecture team, you will play a central role in defining and delivering solution architectures for the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) program. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure architectural consistency throughout the entire software lifecycle, from design to testing, release, and operation phases.
  • Identify, document, and manage architectural debt resulting from discrepancies between transitional implementations and long-term goals.
  • Initiate and formalize important decisions through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to secure approval from the relevant architecture committees.
  • Software engineers and tech leads advise and mentor to ensure that technical implementation is feasible, scalable, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine business requirements and translate them into manageable capabilities and building blocks.
  • Actively contribute to the global domain architecture committee: present blueprints, review peer designs, and contribute to the overall target architecture.
  • Enforce architecture governance across development teams and maintain quality standards during delivery

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

  • Full responsibility for solution architectures—from conception to implementation and operation
  • Ability to evaluate architectural alternatives and find reasonable compromises under constraints
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable technical solutions
  • Strong knowledge of modern architectural styles: microservices, event-driven systems, modular monoliths
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, Kafka, data streaming, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud/on-premise environments
  • Professional knowledge of UML and Archimate modeling, with practical experience in using EA tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • Good understanding of BPMN 2.0 and business process modeling
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps practices and software development excellence
