Senior System Architect - Finance & Credit
Julius Baer is seeking a Senior System Architect for Finance & Credit in Zurich to design solution architectures and advise software developers. This full-time, fixed-term position requires at least three years of experience as a senior architect, as well as knowledge of SAP solutions and financial accounting.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Align with our target architectures
- Identify and manage architectural debt when there is a misalignment between target architectures approved by the relevant Architecture Decision Records (ADR)
- Initiate architecture decisions, document them as Architecture Decision Records, and ensure technical feasibility
- Advise and coach software engineers on the implementation of solutions; in addition to architecture design, you also support later phases of the software lifecycle, such as testing, release, and operations
YOUR PROFILE
- 3+ years of experience as a senior architect, 5+ years of experience as a lead engineer
- Responsible for solution architectures: from design and implementation to operation
- Ability to identify options for solution architectures and make architectural trade-off decisions
- Experience with SAP solutions, particularly S4/HANA, BW/HANA, and BTP
- Good understanding of financial accounting and management accounting
- Knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP in the financial services industry
- Analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical designs
