Senior System Engineer

Tasks

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the automation framework that supports our infrastructure operations. This includes:

• Leveraging modern technologies on a large scale to support our global trade and research operations
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, configuration management, infrastructure orchestration platforms, and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with development teams and other platform teams to develop automation solutions that advance our infrastructure
• Using AI development tools to accelerate delivery and drive innovation within the team

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with:

• 2+ years of experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and SaltStack
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Experience with observability and monitoring practices, including experience with tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or similar platforms
• Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and large, distributed systems
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and infrastructure architecture patterns
• Ability to work in an agile environment using CI/CD and GitOps, with experience in large-scale infrastructure deployments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
