Senior System Engineer

Tasks

• Design and maintenance of scalable, automated platforms for modern IT environments with thousands of lines of code and hundreds of storage automations per custom interface requirement and trading service.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure environments and configuration management solutions—both via Terraform and locally in a container environment—as well as proposing solutions to new problems or resolving existing ones.
• Development of Python libraries for the management and automation of infrastructure components.
• Implementation of operating systems (e.g., configuration management, automation, etc.) and providing support to developers using these systems.
• Collaborate with various supporting units and teams, including product owners and solution managers, as appropriate.
• Collaboration with business partners in a dynamic environment where infrastructure directly impacts organizational outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with infrastructure management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Strong knowledge of data security and monitoring methods using tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS (ELF) deployments via Elastic Container (EC2), but a willingness to learn more about cloud solutions.
• Experience with container orchestration (such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their use with tools such as TeamCity or GitHub Actions.
• A thorough understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
