Senior Tax Manager - Global Private Bank

The Senior Tax Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for providing tax advice and solutions for complex cross-border situations for high net worth clients in the private banking sector. In particular, the candidate will develop, communicate and implement tax strategies and best practices.

Job description

As a Senior Tax Manager within the Private Banking business, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and solutions to our high net worth and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients. You will be expected to leverage, develop, communicate, and execute tax strategies and best practices in the structuring of complex cross-border situations. A key requirement for this role will be to contribute to the development of best practices within the department on key cross-border tax issues.

Tasks

  • Provide technical support on complex international tax planning to business and investment teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and management to communicate changes in the tax arena and ensure appropriate implementation.

Requirements

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing market/regulatory requirements
  • Strong experience of advising on tax and the asset structuring process
  • Qualified/Finalist for a CFA, ACCA or CIMA; experience with financial planning/processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including: Word, Excel. Ability to use the Internet; English fluency. French and other languages could be an advantage
  • Due to immigration restrictions in Switzerland, we will only be able to consider applications from Swiss or EU citizens or from candidates holding a Swiss work permit
