Senior Test Manager - Finance Program 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Environment validation across all stages (from DEV to PROD), ensuring compliance with data protection standards and accounting for system interdependencies
• Coordinate defect management using tools such as JIRA; track defect resolution; conduct root-cause analyses; and provide regular quality reports, including defect trends, outstanding risks, and test progress, to support informed go/no-go decisions
• Primary point of contact during the testing phase; support with UAT facilitation and acceptance; maintenance of cutover and rollback documentation; and provision of hyper-care support to ensure a smooth transition and a stable post-go-live phase
• Guiding business testers through the testing process, including training on how to use Jira/xRay and creating test cases
• Acting Test Stream Lead

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance within large-scale IT or transformation projects, ideally in a financial services environment; strong familiarity with system implementation lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and testing best practices
• Extensive practical experience in managing end-to-end testing processes, including test planning, test case design, defect management, and the execution of various types of tests—SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end integration tests
• A solid understanding of financial systems and processes, particularly in the areas of financial management, accounting, treasury, or pricing; prior experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos T24 (Transaction) or SAP is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail when validating system behavior against business requirements, identifying gaps, and ensuring traceability from requirements to test coverage and defect resolution
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience serving as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders; able to produce clear test reports, lead test sessions, support UAT, and contribute to go/no-go decisions
• Strong knowledge of Jira and xRay
• Seniority to represent financial interests in large programs
