Senior Test Manager - Finance Program 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

- Validates environments across all stages (from DEV to PROD) while ensuring compliance with data protection standards and addressing system interdependencies - Coordinates defect management using tools such as JIRA, tracks defect resolution, performs root cause analysis, and generates regular quality reports—including defect trends, open risks, and test progress—to support informed go/no-go decisions - Serves as the central point of contact during the testing phase, supports UAT facilitation and acceptance, manages cutover and rollback documentation, and provides hyper-care support to ensure a smooth transition and a stable post-go-live phase - Guides business testers through the testing process, including training on using Jira/xRay and creating test cases - Acts as the deputy to the Test Stream Lead

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance within large-scale IT or transformation projects, ideally in a financial services environment; strong familiarity with system implementation lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and testing best practices
• Extensive practical experience in managing end-to-end testing processes, including test planning, test case design, defect management, and the execution of various types of tests—SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end integration tests
• A solid understanding of financial systems and processes, particularly in areas such as financial management, accounting, treasury, or pricing; prior experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos T24 (Transaction) or SAP is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail when validating system behavior against business requirements, identifying gaps, and ensuring traceability from requirements to test coverage and defect resolution
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience serving as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders; able to create and lead clear test reports
