Senior Test Manager - Finance Transformation 100% (f/m/d)

Job description

Senior Test Manager - Finance Transformation 100% (m/f/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start for 12 months with possible extension)

Tasks

• Environment validation across all phases (DEV to PROD), while ensuring compliance with data protection standards and system interdependencies
• Coordinate defect management using tools such as JIRA, track defect resolution, perform root cause analysis and provide regular quality reports - including defect trends, open risks and test progress
• Support for informed go/no-go decisions
• Acts as a single point of contact during testing and live cutover, supports UAT facilitation and acceptance, performs cutover and rollback documentation, and provides hyper-care support to ensure a smooth transition and a stable post-go-live phase

Requirements

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance within large IT or transformation projects, ideally in a financial services environment; strong familiarity with system implementation lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and testing best practices
• Extensive hands-on experience in managing end-to-end test processes, including test planning, test case design, defect management (using tools such as JIRA) and execution of various test types - SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end integration testing
• Solid understanding of financial systems and processes, especially in areas such as general ledger, financial accounting, treasury, pricing or management accounting; previous exposure to core banking platforms such as Temenos T24 (now Temenos Transact) is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail in validating system behavior against business requirements, identifying gaps and ensuring traceability from requirements to test coverage and defect resolution
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience as a liaison between
