Senior Test Specialist – Key Applications (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Senior Test Specialist for Key Applications who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test activities to ensure software quality. The position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Tasks
- Planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all testing activities to ensure software quality, compliance, and successful implementation
- Management of RunCentral, regression, and non-functional testing processes
- Coordination of the use of test environments
- Support for test automation and expansion of capacity for automated regression testing
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Requirements
- Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and performance testing tools
- Solid knowledge of banking or financial systems (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, PMP, or Agile Testing are highly desirable
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new ways of working and support Julius Baer in its transformation
- Pride in one's work and a desire to set a good example
- Intercultural mindset, empathy, and a can-do attitude
- A quick learner with an understanding of the business context
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, SQL (Oracle), React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes (PKS) and virtual machines, streaming with Kafka, Avro, OpenAPI, UML
