Senior Test Specialist - Key Applications (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all testing activities to ensure software quality, compliance, and successful implementation
• Managing functional, regression, and non-functional testing processes
• Coordinating the use of test environments
• Support for test automation and the capacity for automated regression testing
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Leading and mentoring test team members to promote continuous improvement in test efficiency and coverage

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Test Engineer/Manager or Testing Lead in complex IT transformation projects
• Strong understanding of software testing methods (Agile, Waterfall) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and performance testing tools
• Solid knowledge of financial systems, e.g., regulatory reporting, risk reporting, and similar areas (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, PMP, or Agile Testing are highly desirable
• Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new ways of working and support Julius Baer in its transformation
