Senior Trader

Tasks

The position of Senior Trader involves the following responsibilities:

• Efficient and cost-effective execution of orders across multiple asset classes
• Collaboration with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and traders to ensure best execution
• Improving processes to ensure the best possible execution for clients
• Assessment of Bank Performance and Identification of Potential Alpha Leaks
• Supporting the execution trading team in utilizing best-in-class systems and technologies
• Providing market expertise to portfolio managers
• Implementation of hedging overlays and factor exposures based on portfolio managers' requirements
• Support for the development of trading technologies
• Identifying Best-in-Class Solutions for Automation

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• At least 5 years of experience in front-office trading, preferably at a buy-side hedge fund or asset management firm
• Experience trading corporate cash credit, investment-grade, and/or emerging markets, with a focus on best execution in technology trading
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Extensive experience in raising capital and managing broker/counterparty relationships at the senior level
• Experience supervising junior staff on a trading floor or EM/DMS platforms
• Expert services using the Bloomberg Terminal and market data management systems
• Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
