Senior Trader

Tasks

The position of Senior Trader involves the following responsibilities:

• Efficient and cost-effective execution of orders across multiple asset classes
• Collaborating with portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, and technologists to ensure best execution and contribute strategic insights
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with global compliance policies and internal procedures
• Improving processes to ensure the best possible execution for clients
• Evaluation of banks and identification of potential alpha leakage
• Development of trading strategies and technologies
• Supporting teams and facilitating the implementation of initiatives within the investment process

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• At least 5 years of experience in front-office trading, preferably in the buy-side hedge fund or asset management industry
• Experience trading corporate cash credit, investment-grade, high-yield, and/or emerging market bonds, with a focus on best execution and market structure
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Extensive experience in raising capital and managing relationships with brokers and counterparties at the senior level
• Expert knowledge of market structure, regulatory changes, and electronic trading platforms
• Knowledge of Python is preferred
