Tasks

The position of Senior Trader involves the following responsibilities:

• Efficient and cost-effective execution of orders across multiple asset classes
• Close collaboration with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and traders
• Ensuring best execution and contributing to sound judgment and oversight in the investment process

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Policies and Procedures: Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all global compliance policies, internal procedures, and the Employee Handbook
• Best Execution: Continuous improvement of processes to meet best execution obligations for clients
• Market Commentary: Provision of daily/periodic P&L, research, and risk information
• Execution Experts: Acting as market microstructure specialists for the execution of hedging overlays and factor exposures
• Use of Technology: Developing trading technology to enhance the execution toolset

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• At least 4 years of experience in front-office trading, preferably at a hedge fund or asset management firm
• Experience in trading corporate cash credit, liquid investment-grade (IG) and high-yield (HY) bonds, and/or emerging market (EM) bonds, with a focus on best execution
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Extensive experience in raising capital and managing broker and counterparty relationships at the highest level
• Knowledge of Python is preferred
