Senior Wealth Advisor - MENAT

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) in Geneva to work with UHNW individuals to meet their complex, long-term needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and in-depth knowledge of private client law and tax law.

Job description

The Wealth Advisor will work with our MENAT (Middle East North Africa Turkey) team in Geneva to meet the complex, long-term needs of our clients, together with our bankers, investors, lending advisors, and Global Wealth Advisors teams. We are looking for a talented candidate with excellent communication and organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong knowledge and/or experience in private law and tax law, enabling them to act completely autonomously in front of clients and their advisors. The required technical skills include expert knowledge of how UHNW individuals hold, protect, structure, and transfer their wealth based on their goals. This includes strategies for wealth and family businesses, such as succession planning, preparation for liquidity events, family strategy, etc.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Work as a team member with MENAT advisors to achieve regional business goals and the goals of the Wealth Advisory team in EMEA
  • Development of specific presentations and talking points in the MENAT region (e.g., intermediaries, family offices, family governance, philanthropy and next-generation initiatives, events)
  • Collaborating with bankers, investors, and lending advisors to deliver first-class service to our clients and prospects
  • Proactively informing the team about strategic initiatives, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting wealth planning
  • Promoting a cooperative and inclusive environment that supports growth and development

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • A proven track record of working with UHNW clients
  • Recognized expert with solid knowledge and experience in the field of private law and tax law
  • Lawyers with experience in private client matters are also welcome.
  • Commercial mindset and a drive toward clearly defined metrics
  • A genuine interest in developments in the areas of succession planning, family governance, family office and philanthropy strategies, as well as financial matters
  • Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment
  • Strong relationship orientation and a self-starter with business development knowledge
  • Proven customer management skills with the necessary gravitas to quickly gain customers' trust and confidence
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Innate team orientation with the ability to work across the company and jurisdictions as appropriate
  • Fluent English, Arabic is a plus
